Au revoir, Jeremie

It looks like “Alialiadiere”, as he’s been called multiple times by ignorant pundits, is finally off. Once hailed as one of Europe’s brightest prospect, he now looks to be on his way to Middlesbrough, probably for a couple of million pounds.
Aliadiere’s problems at Arsenal have been two-fold:
- He’s always been injured
- When he hasn’t been, he’s been rubbish
When you look at it like that, Boro are taking a real gamble on a player who didn’t cut it at Celtic, West Ham, or even Wolves. I do hope Gareth Southgate isn’t reading…
Anyway, best of luck Jeremie. For us, it’s money to add to the Muamba winnings and throw back into our own transfer pot.
I was at Wembley last night, where Gilberto captained Brazil in the first international at the new stadium. Quite an honour. Let’s hope he doesn’t knacker himself out with that Copa America thingy.
