International week is over, and I still hate it.

Anyone who doesn’t understand why need only watch England’s 2-0 victory over Azerbaijan. Dire stuff. Though the utterly mad Carlos Alberto does bring a little comedy to proceedings, it’s worth noting.
In Arsenal news, everybody’s leaving again. Well, when I say everybody, I mean Edu and perhaps Stuart Taylor. “Everybody”. I do sometimes think Bob Wilson needs to sod off and keep himself to himself, though. He never seems to say anything helpful. Ten minutes ago he was praising the qualities of Jens Lehmann after he was dropped for Almunia, and now he’d rather Taylor. Annoying, really.
David Bentley is set to return from his Norwich injury nightmare, but won’t be allowed to play for us when the two sides meet on Saturday. We won’t be “avin'” him. Oh no.
He’s a decent player, is Bentley. But when he rejoins the Arsenal squad next season, he may find himself in direct competition for a place with the most clinical finisher in the Premiership, Freddie Ljungberg.
Let’s just hope he fares better than another loan Gun, Jermaine Pennant.
