Uruguayan Sebastien Viera could sign for us today after Wenger revealed he would be looking to secure a keeper by the end of the week.
What else has happened? Oh, we drew 3-3 with Beveren, with a double for a returning van Persie and another for that goal-loving cherub, Arturo Lupoli.
Also, expect some movement on the Jermaine Jenas front – the England midfielder could well be set to hand in a transfer request up at Newcastle. Or, as the natives say, “N’w’c’stle”.
No vowels. At all.
There isn’t much else to report, especially seeing as I’m getting a train to Edinburgh in an hour or so.
I’ll be up there for the next couple of weeks, so updates may be a little thin on the ground.
