Could YOU be Arsenal’s new central midfielder?…

Apparently, Alexander Hleb told Arsenal Magazine: “Before I got into football, I used to be into high-board diving.”
“But my dad was always saying to me, ‘Forget about this diving stuff, you should be playing football’.”
Thankyou Hleb senior. We owe you.
It would seem, however, that old habits die hard:
Meanwhile, rumours of Sol Campbell’s availability continue to gather pace. If, as speculated, Toure and Senderos are cemented as our first choice pairing, I could understand Sol wanting to move on. It would be a real shame though – surely what we’ve been crying out for is genuine competition between three excellent central defenders?
Whilst a few sources are reporting that we’ve agreed a fee for Julio Baptista, the player himself seems intent on remaining in Spain, leaving that gap in our midfield as wide as ever.
In their desperation, it would seem Arsenal.com are offering Patrick Vieira’s slot up for grabs in some sort of auction:
Here’s hoping Michael Essien comes in with the highest bid.
