I hope there’s no magic in my cup

Just a nice glass of crushing victory would be good. Unfortunately, I can’t see it being that easy.
Despite their poor form and mid-table Championship status, Burnley have a few ingredients that could cause us problems. Take for example, their centre-forward Ade Akinbiyi, who today revealed the club had to ban him from the gym because he had become so muscular it was beginning to cause him to lose pace. In a fight with Senderos, I’m afraid there’s only going to be one winner…
That said, all things being equal, we should be able to get through it. Our Cup kids will be supplemented by the likes of Lehmann, Sagna, Eboue, and Toure, which should provide us with the steel to match our flair and hopefully sweep Burnley aside. Arseblogger thinks Gilberto will play, but I’d be surprised to see the big Brazilian included at this critical point in the transfer window…
Nevertheless, we should win handsomely today. The likes of Diarra and Diaby should have too much for them in the middle of the park, whilst Eduardo has already shown his love for scoring in the cups.
Let’s just not have too much ‘magic’, eh…
