Things to do when there’s no Arsenal news: Part 2

I was hoping there wouldn’t be too many of these articles, but there is the gigantic problem of having very little constructive to say about Arsenal. So, Things to do when there’s no Arsenal news #2 is:
Dicuss transfer speculation that is based almost entirely on conjecture and rumour.
- These quotes from a Nigerian newspaper suggest that Arsenal may be sniffing around £8m defender Joseph Yobo. There are several issues with this. Firstly, Nigerian newspapers lie, quite a lot. Secondly, Joseph Yobo.
- John from South Korea suggests we might be after livewire forward Lukas Podolski. Podolski’s a good player, but I’d rather hear it from Arsene Wenger than “John“.
Bullet point perhaps suggested that was going to be a long list. I hope you’re not too disappointed. As I say, the above is just speculation, but we have in fact signed Andrei Shevchenko. Arseblogger‘s playing it down, but he’s just trying to keep the signing of the Ukrainian under wraps. As well as these two.
West Ham were delighted to recieve Thierry Henry in part-exchange for the latter.
